Coronavirus cleaning in Lancaster
Preventative Coronavirus cleaning Lancaster

Help prevent the spread of Coronavirus with a preventative decontamination deep clean.
Decontamination clean ups can be undertaken on a regular basis or as a "one off"  to
ensure the safety of the general public, staff and yourself.
A virus decontamination also reassures the general public and staff that you are taking
positive steps to help ensure their safety whilst on your premises.

Decontamination clean up eliminates harmful bacteria and infectious organisms from
surfaces, greatly reducing the risk of infection. Without correct deep cleaning
techniques to disinfect and sterilise, bacteria on surfaces will not be killed.

Coronavirus prevention deep clean check list to ask yourself:

Are there high traffic areas within the premises?
Does my businesses have a large footfall?
Do I want to reassure staff and customers whilst on site?
Do I want to minimise staff absence?
Do I want to make sure that loss of custom is kept to a minimum?
Am I serving food and/or drink to the general public or staff?

If the answer to any of these is yes, you may benefit from a Coronavirus prevention
clean.

Coronavirus disinfection cleans Lancaster

A full Coronvirus decontamination is required after a positive case of
Coronavirus has been detected, to ensure the premises are safe for re entry.
In the event of a positive Coronavirus case, it is recommended the premises are
immediately evacuated and no persons allowed to re enter until all risks posed
from Coronvirus have been neutralised by a thorough disinfection.

Regular cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals will not always be effective in
killing harmful bacteria or germs. Manual cleaning, although great at maintaining
everyday hygiene, is not a time effective or thorough way to disinfect all surfaces
that may harbour bacteria, germs and viruses.

Once a person with Coronavirus has been identified, all areas they have come in
to contact with must be disinfected as soon as possible.
Cleaning must be carried out to the required standard and guidelines to prevent
the further spread of Coronavirus.

We use disinfectant
proven by EN14476 tests to eliminate Coronavirus.
Coronavirus is an enveloped virus which can easily be penetrated and killed by
using the correct viricidal disinfectant and cleaning methods.
Our disinfectant leaves an almost invisible layer on all hard surfaces which will
continue to kill Coronvirus on surfaces for up to 30 days.
As our viricidal disinfectant is food safe and non toxic, all persons can re enter
after 30 minutes.

Covid secure cleaning measures will still have to be followed to ensure maximum
protection to everyone who may be present on site.

Cleaning methods:

Before we begin a decontamination, if required, we perform a pre clean.
This involves removing all visible dirt from surfaces and equipment.
In the majority of cases a pre clean is
not required and we can immediately begin
the disinfection. This enables you to return to your place of work quicker whilst
keeping down time to the absolute minimum.
A Surface disinfection by fogging then commences.
A specialised Coronavirus disinfectant,
proven to kill Coronavirus by
official EN14476 test, is used.
Coronavirus decontamination consists of fogging/misting all surfaces including
regular touch points, surfaces, walls, floors and equipment within the building.

Utilising our comprehensive deep cleaning methods, fogging technology and
electrostatic misting, disinfection is completed with minimal disruption.
Certification is provided electronically after our Coronvirus fogging service is
completed.
Phoenix Cleaning Company has established itself as a leading
biohazard cleaning provider to some of the worlds largest

What is fogging?

  • Fogging produces micro droplets of Viricidal disinfectant that hang in the air
    for 10 minutes after application.
  • These micro droplets start to cling to all surfaces and after only 30 seconds of
    contact time, surfaces are disinfected.
  • Dispersing these micro droplets into the atmosphere means the disinfectant
solution is able to reach areas that could not otherwise be cleaned with regular
cleaning methods. This includes hard to reach areas and hidden crevices.
  • Studies show application by fogging significantly reduces the number of viable
infectious pathogens, treating all surfaces and the air, killing these pathogens.

  • Fogging with the correct disinfectant kills all but 0.0001% of bacteria
    and viruses.
With the recent increase of Covid cases in the UK due to new variants
including Pirola, cold winter months and increased social mixing, more
and more premises are being contaminated with the highly contagious new
Coronavirus variant.

To ensure the safety of your staff and key workers, it is imperative that such
contaminants are removed from surfaces and touch points to avoid further
transmission.
If a Covid positive case has been confirmed on your premises, you have a duty
of care to remedy the situation.
Failure to do so could become detrimental to the health of staff and their
immediate families and also adding further strain to the NHS.
Also, inaction will cause lasting damage to your business or organisation.

Fogging offers full coverage to the affected area, killing the Covid 19 virus on
all surfaces and hard to reach areas.

Fogging kills 99.99999% of bacteria and viruses, not only on surfaces but also
in the air.

We have 2 fogging services available.

Classic Fogging.

Using compressed gas to turn Covid 19 killing disinfectant in to an aerosol.

Fogging creates micro droplets of Virucide disinfectant that are dispelled in to
the air.

These micro droplets then hang in the air for 10 minutes after application.
The micro droplets then cover all areas of the infected area.

Areas that have been fogged can then be re entered after just 30 minutes,
but we advise to allow 1 hour.

After the fogging has taken place, the residue of disinfectant will continue
to kill viruses on hard surfaces for up to 30 days.

Perfect for medium and large size warehouses and industrial units with
high ceilings, racking, pallets and machinery.

Electrostatic fogging/misting.

Using the same Covid 19 killing disinfectant, the electrostatic fogger positively
charges the disinfectant.

This results in the droplets becoming attracted and cling to surfaces.
This ensures complete coverage.

Not as invasive as the classic fogging.

Micro droplets created by electrostatic foggers are bigger so will not travel
under door cracks or in to ventilation systems.

Quieter, so may be more appropriate for communal areas or care homes.

May take slightly longer to treat the area.

Re population is almost immediate.

Both fogging methods disinfect all touch points so an additional touch point
clean is not required, but can be provided as an add on service.

Touch point cleaning will include:

Desktops and work surfaces
Doorknobs, doorplates & handles
