Monkeypox disinfection cleans A full Monkeypox decontamination clean is required after a person infected with Monkeypox has been detected, to ensure the premises are safe for re entry. In the event of a positive Monkeypox case, it is highly recommended that all persons are evacuated from the site immediately and no one should be allowed to re enter until all risks of posed from Monkeypox have been eradicated thorough sanitising and cleaning. Regular cleaning methods and cleaning chemicals will not always be effective in killing harmful Monkeypox bacteria or germs. Fogging and electrostatic cleaning can have your premises and businesses up and running again within a few hours. Once a person with Monkeypox has been identified, all areas they have come in to contact with must be disinfected as soon as possible. Cleaning must be carried out to the required standard and guidelines to prevent the further spread of Monkeypox. We use disinfectant proven by EN14476 tests to eliminate Monkeypox. Monkeypox is an enveloped double stranded DNA virus which can easily be penetrated and killed by using the correct viricidal disinfectant and cleaning methods. Our disinfectant leaves an almost invisible layer on all hard surfaces which will continue to kill Monkeypox on surfaces for up to 30 days. As our viricidal disinfectant is food safe and non toxic, all persons can re enter after 30 minutes. Regular cleaning measures will still have to be followed to ensure maximum protection to everyone who may be present on site. Cleaning methods: In the majority of cases a pre clean before fogging or electrostatic cleaning is not required, and we can immediately begin the disinfection. This enables you to return to your place of work quicker whilst keeping down time to the absolute minimum. After the last few years, we appreciate that keeping businesses up and running is more important than ever. The last thing you or your business needs in these challenging times is an extended period of yet more closures and loss of income. A Surface disinfection by fogging or electrostatic misting can begin as soon as everyone has vacated the premises. With the recent domestically transmitted spread of Monkeypox cases in the UK, its important to keep cases as low as possible so the UK does not return to lockdowns, social distancing that highly disrupts business productivity and limits social interactions. To ensure the safety of your staff and key workers, it is imperative that such contaminants are removed from surfaces and touch points to avoid further transmission. If a Monkeypox case has been confirmed on your premises, you have a duty of care to remedy the situation. Failure to do so could become detrimental to the health of staff and their immediate families and also adding further strain to the NHS. Also, inaction will cause lasting damage to your business or organisation. Fogging offers full coverage to the affected area, killing the Monkeypox virus on all surfaces and hard to reach areas. Fogging kills 99.99999% of bacteria and viruses, not only on surfaces but also in the air. We have 2 fogging services available. Classic Fogging. Using compressed gas to turn Monkeypox killing disinfectant in to an aerosol. Fogging creates micro droplets of Virucide disinfectant that are dispelled in to the air and on surfaces. These micro droplets then hang in the air for 10 minutes after application. The micro droplets then cover all areas of the infected area. Areas that have been fogged and sanitised can then be re entered after just 30 minutes, but we advise to allow 1 hour. After the fogging has taken place, the residue of disinfectant will continue to kill viruses on hard surfaces for up to 30 days. Perfect for medium and large size warehouses and industrial units with high ceilings, racking, pallets and machinery. Electrostatic fogging/misting. Using the same Monkeypox killing disinfectant, the electrostatic misting fogger positively charges the disinfectant. This results in the droplets becoming attracted and cling to surfaces. This ensures complete coverage. Not as invasive as the classic fogging. Micro droplets created by electrostatic foggers are bigger so will not travel under door cracks or in to ventilation systems. Quieter, so may be more appropriate for communal areas or care homes. May take slightly longer to treat the area. Re population is almost immediate. Both fogging methods disinfect all touch points so an additional touch point clean is not required, but can be provided as an add on service. Touch point cleaning, if required, will include: Desktops and work surfaces Doorknobs, doorplates & handles Light switches Computer keyboards / Mouse and screens Telephone equipment Chairs Canteen furniture Sinks and kitchens Toilets – Taps / Flushes / soap, hand towel dispensers / hand dryers Mirrors Water fountains Vending machines Tablets and digital devices Lifts and escalators Handrails |
